8-year-old boy crashes car into neighbor's Littlerock home
A car driven by an 8-year-old boy smashed into his neighbor's house in Littlerock on Saturday, injuring one person, police said.

LITTLEROCK, Calif. (KABC) -- A car driven by an 8-year-old boy smashed into his neighbor's house in Littlerock on Saturday, injuring one person, police said.

The car smashed through the walls of the home and came to a stop in the homeowner's bedroom on top of his bed around 12:30 p.m. Saturday.

The homeowner was luckily in a different room at the time. But one woman was injured and transported to a local hospital.

Police say the car was driven by an 8-year-old boy who lives across the street in the Antelope Valley community.

Detectives are investigating the circumstances of the crash and how the 8-year-old was able to get behind the wheel.
