Iconic Anthony Quinn mural in downtown LA getting makeover

LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- An iconic mural of the late actor Anthony Quinn in downtown Los Angeles is getting a makeover. The city has secured $150,000 for the restoration project.

The mural has loomed large over the northern edge of downtown L.A. on the corner of 3rd and Broadway for almost 30 years. The colors have faded over the years, and the paint is peeling.
