ARCADIA, Calif. (KABC) -- A thief posing as a potential buyer stole a laptop from a man who posted it for sale on Craigslist in Arcadia.
According to Arcadia police, the victim agreed to meet the suspect at a parking lot in the 100 block of East Huntington Drive around 2:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The suspect showed up to the site, struck the seller and took off with the laptop. The victim suffered a minor injury, authorities said.
Police said the suspect got into a newer red Ford Mustang with paper plates and fled the scene.
The suspect was described as a Hispanic man, approximately 25-30 years old, around 6 feet tall with a heavy build.
