Police seek 2nd suspect in Shaw murder

DOWNTOWN L.A. Police say 19-year-old Pedro Espinoza had been released from jail for a different crime the day before he killed 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw Jr.

A funeral for the Los Angeles high school student was held Tuesday. Investigators believe the killing was a gang-related case of mistaken identity. Espinoza is scheduled to be arraigned Mar. 25.

Detectives are seeking a second suspect who they believe was in the car with Espinoza. Anyone with information is asked to call LAPD at (877) LAW-FULL.
