Medical center bans cell phones, laptops

LOS ANGELES The action comes after a patient posted photos of other patients on a social networking Web site.

Hospital officials said the patients had agreed to be photographed and that the ban is part of an effort to enhance overall patient privacy.

In a separate matter, the UCLA Medical Center announced recently that it will fire, suspend or discipline 25 employees for snooping into Britney Spears' electronic medical.
