Police say the investigation began last month after a family member came forward after a family dispute. They claimed they were abused by the father over ten years ago.
"One of the adult victims came forward and reported that this abuse had occurred," said Carl Baker from the Redlands Police Department.
As the investigation unfolded police say they discovered that the suspect's son was also involved. They say that he molested on of his siblings and one of the kids at the daycare owned by a family member.
Police say that the owner of the daycare claims they knew nothing.
"At this point with the daycare, the only involvement there is that we are investigating it because it is an unlicensed facility. The owner of the daycare is the mother of one of our suspect's and the grandmother of the other suspect. They loss their license some time ago during a previous investigation for child abuse and have been operating as an unlicensed facility," said Baker.
Eyewitness News tried to get an interview with the owner of the daycare, but the woman who answered the door immediately closed it without answering any questions.
People in the neighborhood do not know what to think.
"I am really shocked. A friend of ours has kids that go there. I am going to talk to them and find out what is going on," said neighbor Coreen Ayers.
Police think there might be other potential victims and are asking for help. If you have any information you are asked to call the Redlands Police Department at (909) 798-7688.
