Fire damages building on UCLA campus

Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that damaged a building on the UCLA campus Thursday morning.Heavy black smoke was reported coming from the basement of Dodd Hall at around 10:10 a.m.

It took 25 firefighters about 20 minutes to knock down the blaze.

The fire was confined to the basement, though upper floors did suffer some smoke damage.

No injuries were reported.
