Chinese therapies may help treat eczema

A small study out of /*Mount Sinai Hospital*/ in New York City found that acupuncture and herbal tea greatly reduced the severity of eczema in patients

Many patients said their red and itchy skin improved after eight months. Most also reported an increase in their quality of life.

Despite such positive results, researchers say people should still discuss using alternative medicines with a physician before starting treatment.
