Sales tax increases in SoCal counties

LOS ANGELES However, in Orange County, the city of Laguna Beach will see a half-percentage drop in sales tax to 8.75 percent after the city council discontinued a temporary tax increase.

The areas seeing a half-percentage sales tax increase include:

• Los Angeles County, 9.75 percent
• Avalon, 10.25 percent
• El Monte, 10.25 percent
• Inglewood, 10.25 percent
• Pico Rivera, 10.75 percent
• South Gate, 10.75 percent
