Search intensifies for woman, 4 children

RENO, Nevada An Amber Alert was issued in three states, including in California, when 34-year-old Claire Tourand failed to show up for a custody hearing over the weekend. It has since been canceled, but the search continues.

Tourand is not the custodial parent of the four children, who range in age from 4 to 9.

A judge has issued an order for their return, saying they are in danger.

Tourand is believed to be driving a white Mercury Sable, Nevada license plate 369SDH. Anyone who sees the car should call 911.
