Popular San Bernardino trails re-open

SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. Forest Falls Picnic Area, Big Falls Trailhead and Vivian Creek Trailhead will reopen Saturday. They have been closed since early July due to a bear scare.

Several visitors reported encounters with bears and the Forest Service decided to close the area as a precaution.

Park Rangers say visitors shouldn't feed the bears, and they should make sure not to leave food unattended because it draws the animals into the area.
