Reward has been offered for bike murder

LOS ANGELES Melvin James Comeaux Jr., 28, was walking near the corner of Normandie Avenue and 94th Place on Aug. 24, 2008, when he was gunned down by two men riding bicycles.

The suspects fled the scene.

Comeaux later succumbed to his injuries. He was a counselor for disabled people at the Signs of Life group home in South Los Angeles.

There's no word on a motive.
