Police believe he is the biological father of an unborn child who died last Monday in a miscarriage under suspicious circumstances. Investigators estimate the fetus was in its 13th week.
Woodward is believed to have ties to Miami and Chicago, and detectives are also seeking information in those cities. He's being held on $2 million bail.
The condition of the mother of the unborn child is unknown.
