Search for man who tried to kill wife

LOS ANGELES The LAPD is looking for 43-year-old Miguel Amaya. He allegedly attacked his 38-year-old wife on Wednesday morning after she dropped one of her children off at school.

Police said Amaya hit her with a brick, stabbed her and cut her throat. She was taken to the hospital and is listed in serious but stable condition.

Officers said Amaya also stabbed himself before taking off. He's considered armed and dangerous.
