In July 2004, Hernandez killed Jorge Ortiz outside a Riverside bar, shooting him five times in the head and chest.
Investigators say the shooting was a gang hit.

RIVERSIDE, Calif. The Riverside County District Attorney's office says 33-year-old
George Anthony Hernandez Jr. was sentenced Friday, five months
after a jury convicted him of murder with a special circumstance of
lying in wait.
