Brothers and Sisters finale filled with drama

LOS ANGELES Last fall, Marini joined the hit show in a guest starring role. That role grew and he's now a series regular, and Gilles says he's living the dream.

"Work with /*Rob Lowe*/, /*Rachel Griffiths*/, /*Sally Field*/, and you end up meeting some others...the list is so long it's crazy," Gilles said. "I'm blessed man, I'm blessed. That's why I'm always smiling. I'm positive. Life is complete."

Gilles said he was just as anxious as the show's numerous fans to find out details about the season finale.

"I got the script. The first thing I did was turn around, run into another room and read it right away," he said. "It's incredible. You're going to have a lot of joy, pain, sadness."

Though he didn't want to reveal too much too soon, Gilles did say this.

"I'll put it this way. Life is about choices, and you sometimes make choices that can cost the ultimate price. The show is really about a lot of things like that."

"It's very clear. Don't get me wrong. It's very clear what's happening. Definitely, your blood is going to rise in temperature and you're going to say, 'When is September coming because I need to see what's next,'" he said.

The "/*Brothers and Sisters*/" season finale airs Sunday May 16 at 10 p.m. on ABC7.
