Pomona shooting leaves 11-year-old boy hurt

POMONA, Calif. Authorities said the boy was outside his home in the 900 block of Ashfield Avenue at about 8:45 p.m. when the gunfire broke out.

He was airlifted to County-USC Medical Center and is expected to survive.

Police have not released any suspect information.
