The video show Bale tossing a 4-year-old Tabby in a trash bin and then closing the lid.
The cat was trapped for 15 hours before finally being rescued by its owners.
Bale said she was sorry, but offered no explanation as to why she did it.
The cat's owners say they're aware of Bale's apology.
However they still want the police to press charges.
Bale is reportedly cooperating with investigators.
Police are also patrolling her neighborhood to guard against any retaliation.
