NoHo man arrested for alleged sexual assault

NORTH HOLLYWOOD, Calif. Louis Mercado, 19, is accused of attacking the woman last March while she walked in the 6900 block of Lankershim Blvd. Police said he pulled the woman into a parking lot and sexually assaulted her.

Detectives believe Mercado may be responsible for similar crimes in the North Hollywood area, specifically near the Lankershim Boulevard Corridor.
