Toyota has agreed to pay $10 million to the family of four people killed in a 2009 runaway Lexus crash.California Highway Patrol Officer Mark Saylor, his wife, daughter and brother-in-law all died in the crash in San Diego County.

Saylor was unable to stop the Lexus, which hit speeds of 120 miles per hour before crashing.

Investigators found that the accelerator got stuck in the floor mat.

The settlement was reached in September, but the dollar amount was only made public this week.

The crash was among the first of the runaway car cases that eventually led to a massive Toyota recall. Hundreds of lawsuits are still pending.
