Man sues LA over Critical Mass issue w/ LAPD

LOS ANGELES Manuel Gallegos claims officers dragged him off of his bike and beat and kicked him after he shot cellular phone video of police pulling a boy off a bike at Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.

The video was posted on /*YouTube*/. The incident came during a Critical Mass bicycle protest by about 400 riders last May.

The /*Los Angeles Police Department*/ isn't commenting on the lawsuit, but it said officers were on the scene to cite protesting bicyclists who disobeyed traffic signals. Gallegos was cited during the event.
