Squatters arrested with stolen gun, cocaine

Police arrested four squatters at an uninhabitable residence in Victorville Monday and discovered a stolen gun, ammunition and 12 grams of cocaine.

Police were called to the residence on the 15400 block of Fourth St. by code enforcement officers who were checking on the location, where squatters had previously been found. Officers heard voices from the location and called police at about 2:40 p.m.

Victorville police deputies arrived at the location and found four people illegally occupying the house. Also in the house were a .45-caliber gun that had been stolen in Los Angeles, three magazines loaded with ammunition, and 12 grams of cocaine.

Four suspects were arrested on charges of felon in possession of a firearm, possession of stolen property, possession of narcotics, with gang enhancements to be requested.

Shawneequa Baker, 31, Dillard Fowler, 35, Mario Paz, 24, and Lamonte Livingston, 27, were arrested.
