IE noise disturbance leads to burglary arrest

HEMET, Calif.

Police were called out to a home in the 1900 block of West Acacia Avenue at approximately 3 a.m. Saturday. Reports came in of three men yelling at each other at a home in that block.

While officers were investigating the home, they found items that had been reported stolen from a business about five months ago.

Authorities said property from a burglary reported two days ago was also found at the residence.

Police arrested Quantrell Devontay Knight, 21; Margarita Renee Watkins, 35; and Shawn Perkins, 34, all from Hemet. The three suspects face charges of possession of stolen property and burglary. Knight also had an arrest warrant for domestic violence.

Authorities are investigating whether the three suspects are responsible for other commercial burglaries in the area and if others were involved.
