The incident happened at the Trinity Life Center on East El Segundo Boulevard at approximately 10:45 p.m. Saturday.

Authorities said the car drifted off the road and slammed into the church, then bounced back onto the road.
The driver ran off, but police arrested the suspect about 15 minutes later.
The pastor said the church entry way was nearly demolished, but he still planned services for Sunday.
