It's less than five seconds on camera and all a blur. Thomas Byers of Shelby North Carolina said he and his friend saw a 6 to 7-foot Sasquatch scurrying across the road as they drove along a rural road Tuesday night.
Byers said the creature smelled bad. Folks in Rutherford County don't know what to think about his tall tale.
"I used to be out in the woods all the time hunting," said one resident. "Never saw anything that resembled that."
"I guess I got my doubts," said another resident.
Byers posted the video online. The alleged sighting has attracted a lot of attention and had had more than a million hits on /*YouTube*/.
