Tours of Kate Middleton's hometown begin

BRADFIELD, England

Bus tours of Middleton's hometown are starting on Friday.

The owner of the tour bus company says Americans are more transfixed with the royal wedding than Brits, and the bus tour idea came from the owners' brother who lives here in the U.S.

One thing the tour doesn't show is Middleton's childhood home, which is on a private drive.

But the Middleton's real estate agent recently took cameras inside for a tour, revealing rooms where the family would dine and read. Middleton's childhood home is up for sale just weeks before she becomes a princess. The four-bedroom home is reportedly going for $800,000.

People in her hometown say the attention can be a little overwhelming. They're supportive of the couple, but they are also protective.

One pub has banned interviews on its premises. The owner of that pub is reportedly invited to the wedding.
