If your child expects to find toys in their Jack in the Box meals, they will be disappointed. The fast-food chain has yanked toys from its kids' meals.

The move comes as fast-food chains are being pressured to stop using toys to market children's meals that are high in calories, sugar, fat and salt.

Jack in the Box now offers sliced apples as an alternative to French fries.

The company's recent decision is winning praise from organizations and advocates critical of the fast-food industry.
