Fire officials said someone driving by the home located in the 8000 block of Davmor Avenue spotted the flames and dialed 911 at about 7:45 a.m. Saturday.
Officials said the house was filled with newspapers, racing forms, books, bicycles and toys.
Firefighters knocked down the fire in about 15 minutes. They said that was fast because in certain spots, there were mounds of stuff almost all the way up to the ceiling.
No one was inside the home.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
