Blair Bangerter of Herriman built an exact replica of the flying home featured in the movie. He even got the project approved by Disney.
With the outside finished, it's already attracting dozens of tourists each day.
"There was a kid here the other day, and he said, 'There's no light above the front door' and I said, 'The heck, there isn't. How many times have you watched the movie?'" said Bangerter.
Once finished, for awhile it will become part of the Salt Lake area Parade of Homes.
On the weekends, they'll even add balloons - but not too many.
