Amateur video shows the crocodile, Elvis, stealing a lawnmower and dragging it back into his pool in Gosford, north of Sydney.
The engine died when the lawnmower went underwater. His reptile keepers eventually retrieved the lawnmower and found two, 3-inch teeth that Elvis lost in the ordeal.
"The teeth have actually come out when he's bitten the mower. We wouldn't leave them in the bottom, just wouldn't leave them in the pool. And they're abnormally large," said Tim Faulkner.
Elvis' handlers said this isn't the first time he behaved badly, but it is the first time he stole something from one of the workers.
