The shooting occured in the patio area of the restaurant, located at Hollywood Boulevard and La Brea Avenue.
LAPD responded to a call of a man and woman suffering from gunshot wounds at about 10:17 p.m. Both victims were transported to the hospital.
Hollywood Police Lt. Marc Reina said the man requires surgery and is expected to live.
LAPD Officer Norma Eisenman said two suspects fled the scene in a black sedan and remain at large. A motive for the shooting is unknown.
