The Rolling Stones will mark its 50th anniversary with a new book, though the band remains mum on an anniversary tour.

Hyperion announced Friday that it will publish the illustrated autobiography, "The Rolling Stones: 50."

The book will feature rare photographs and commentary from the band. It's set to be released in the fall.

The Stones have told their story in book form before. "According to the Rolling Stones," an oral history, was released by Chronicle Books in 2003.
