The incident happened around 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the corner of San Bernardino Road and Vincent Avenue. Police said that when a Chevy Impala and a Honda Ridgeline collided, one of the vehicles struck the family, which was waiting to cross the street.
Five people were in the group. One woman died, and a 7-month-old baby and another woman were sent to the hospital with injuries.
Police are still investigating the crash, but they don't think alcohol was a factor. The names of those involved were not immediately released.
