Northridge mom sentenced for anti-Semitic vandalism on Valley houses

NORTHRIDGE, LOS ANGELES

Catherine Whelpley drove her 14-year-old daughter and the girl's two friends to the homes, where the teens vandalized them with swastikas, feces and toilet paper.

Whelpley was sentenced to one year of parenting classes and 80 hours of community service at Jewish family services.

The girls were not charged, but they did face disciplinary action at their school.
