Stallworth injured when balloon hits power lines

HOMESTEAD, Fla.

NFL free agent Donte Stallworth and another passenger were in a hot air balloon when it crashed into power lines, Drew Rosenhaus, Stallworth's agent said.

A third passenger was not hurt.

Rosenhaus says the 10-year NFL veteran suffered serious burns, but will not suffer any permanent damage.

"He's going to be OK," Rosenhaus said. "He has some some burns, but he's going to be fine. He will be able to continue his NFL career. The injuries are not to the extent they will jeopardize his career."

It's believed the other injured passenger is Stallworth's girlfriend.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
