Riverside girl, 10, accosted on way to school; suspect sought

RIVERSIDE, Calif.

Police say the man grabbed the 10-year-old girl and tried to pull her into his truck on Garfield and Everest streets at about 7:30 a.m. Sept. 6. The girl kicked the suspect and ran to nearby Liberty Elementary School on Hayes Street.

Police released a sketch of the suspect. He is described as Caucasian, approximately 20 years old, 6 feet tall with a muscular build and short spiky hair. He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and work pants.

He was driving an older model, two-door black pick-up truck with two dents to the passenger side quarter panel.
