Ventura man arrested for Thousand Oaks City Hall graffiti vandalism

THOUSAND OAKS, Calif.

Thousand Oaks City Hall was vandalized with spray-paint graffiti on three different locations on its parking structure in September. Additional graffiti was located in October in the same area. A suspect was captured on video surveillance in both instances.

Cleaning the graffiti cost the city more than $400, according to Thousand Oaks Police.

An special enforcement/gang unit investigation led detectives to Ventura resident Anthony Dimizio, 21, who has a prior graffiti vandalism arrest and conviction in 2011 in Santa Barbara.

Detectives served a search warrant and Dimizio's residence and located evidence linking him to the crimes. He was arrested for vandalism over $400, vandalism with prior convictions and possession of tools to commit vandalism. He was booked and released on $15,000 bail.
