Oxnard police officers responded to a report of a stabbing victim on the 300 block of East Juniper Street at 10:40 p.m. Officers found a 42-year-old Oxnard resident suffering from multiple stab wounds.
The victim was transported to the Ventura County Medical Center where he underwent surgery and was expected to survive.
Officers canvassed the neighborhood, according to police, but did not learn anything about the suspect or where the stabbing occurred.
