Torrance robbery suspects take $1K in merchandise from Marshalls

TORRANCE, Calif.

On Jan. 20 at approximately 5 p.m., four suspects entered the store located at 3525 Carson Street and began stuffing merchandise in reusable Marshalls shopping bags.

When one of the suspects tried to leave the store, the security alarm went off. The suspect then asked a nearby employee if she would like to check her purse.

When the employee got close, police say the suspect aggressively pushed her to the ground. That's when all four suspects fled the store with bags full of stolen products. Police estimate the stolen property value at approximately $1,000.

Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt.

Suspect No. 1 was described as an adult African American female with black hair with red tips, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing between 200 and 220 pounds, and wearing a blue dress.

Suspect No. 2 was also described as an adult African American female with black hair, between 5 feet 4 inches and 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing between 130 and 140 pounds, wearing a blue shirt and black pants.

Suspect No. 3 was described as an adult African American male between 6 feet and 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing between 180 and 200 pounds, wearing a black beanie, gray shirt and blue jeans.

Suspect No. 4 was described as an adult African American male between 5 feet 5 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing between 150 and 170 pounds, wearing a black beanie, red T-shirt and black shorts.
