Oxnard residents burglarize homes, steal $3,000

OXNARD, Calif.

Richard Llamas and the unidentified juvenile allegedly stole from a home in the 2200 block of Natalie Place at about 6 p.m. Wednesday. When officers arrived, the burglars drove off through a crowded parking lot, throwing the goods out of the car as they fled, Oxnard police officials said.

Police found the suspects at another home and conducted a probation search, where they found additional stolen property.

Llamas was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy, reckless driving, delaying or obstructing an officer and driving on a suspended license. He was booked at Ventura County Main Jail.

The unidentified boy was charged with possession of stolen property and sent to Ventura County Juvenile Hall.
