The additional hours are part of the department's effort to resolve customer billing problems, officials said. LADWP recently replaced its 40-year-old customer billing system, which spurred significant operational problems.
The following customer service centers will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the next eight weeks:
-Crenshaw customer service center
4030 Crenshaw Bouldevard, Los Angeles
-Van Nuys customer service center
6550 Van Nuys Boulevard, Van Nuys
-Watts customer service center
1686 E. 103rd Street, Los Angeles
-West Los Angeles customer service center
-1394 S. Sepulveda Boulevard, Los Angeles
