A big rig lost control and jackknifed at 3:30 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway transition where it separates from the westbound 134 Freeway, blocking traffic for several hours.
The truck was carrying about 16,000 pounds of clothing when the accident occurred. No one was injured.
Truck driver Paul McClanahan blamed the accident on a water slick, he said.
"You get a jackknife situation you can't do nothing. You're done. Hopefully you survive it like I did," McClanahan said.
Elsewhere, another truck also jackknifed on the road. The driver lost control on the northbound 5 Freeway transition to the northbound 14 Freeway. Southbound 5 Freeway traffic was delayed through Newhall Pass.
