BUENOS AIRES, Argentina -- When you're the world's No. 1 fashion doll, it's only fitting to have your own luxury accommodations - and no one understands that more than Hilton Hotels and Mattel toys.
They've teamed up to offer the first Barbie-themed hotel room in Argentina's capital city, Buenos Aires.
Upon checking-in, the first glimpse is the giant, pink high-heeled shoe in the lobby. The room itself is all dolled-up in pink, has a 32-inch television playing all Barbie movies, and there's an internal door that leads to another room specially intended for parents.
Analia Ogando, business development director at Hilton Buenos Aires, said the project was born "out of the strategy that we always have: to innovate and offer something new to our national and international clients."
The room's nightly rate is $179 and is fully booked until the start of 2015.
Barbie began her adventures back in 1959, and her brand is worth an estimated $1.3 billion for Mattel.
