Bearded dragons find new homes as owner faces eviction

SALEM, Ore. (KABC) -- The Oregon woman who saved her pet bearded dragon lizard's life with CPR has found homes for all of her rescued reptiles following an eviction threat.

In August, Sherrie Baldwin made news when she found one of her two dozen bearded dragon lizards floating in its small pool and not moving. She administered CPR and brought it back to life.

Her landlord caught wind of the story and threatened to evict Baldwin from her mobile home park unless she got rid of all her lizards.

Baldwin's story went viral, and offers to adopt her scaly reptiles were pouring in from around the country.

She is giving her lizards away this week, along with instructions on proper bearded dragon care. Her only requirement is that the new owners provide veterinary care.
