SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (KABC) -- An investigation is underway after a man's body was discovered inside a vehicle in San Bernardino Friday night.



The victim has been identified as James Lee Dempsey, 51, of Hemet.



Police responded to a suspicious circumstances call on the 3100 block of Cajon Boulevard around 7:45 p.m., and found Dempsey suffering from trauma to his upper body.



Dempsey was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.



The case was being investigated as a suspicious death.
