LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- Los Angeles police are searching for a gunman after three people were shot in the 1800 block of S. Bonnie Brae just west of downtown Los Angeles.
LAPD Rampart Division officers responded to the scene and set up a perimeter to search for a suspect at Hoover and 18th streets.
Police said the shooting took place after an argument. The suspect pulled up in a vehicle and opened fire, police said.
Two men and a woman were struck by the gunfire. One man and the woman were transported in stable condition. The other male victim is listed in critical condition.
The suspect was known to the victims, according to police.
The section of Bonnie Brae where the shooting occurred was shut down due to the investigation.
