Man in suit steals $1000 from Burbank restaurant

BURBANK, Calif. (KABC) -- Police were searching for a man who wore a suit during a break-in at a Burbank restaurant. The suspect got away with $1,000.

The incident happened early Saturday morning at Barragan's Mexican Restaurant in the 730 block of North Victory Boulevard.

Surveillance video shows a man climbing onto a roof, prying the wrought iron loose, then breaking a window to get in.

The suspect tried to open a safe, but was unsuccessful. He took $1,000 from office drawers filled with cash.
