LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- The Los Angeles Planning Commission approved a set of guidelines allowing qualified Airbnb hosts to rent their places all year.
It's a big victory for people who rent their homes through the service. Qualified means hosts would have to prove their property has not been subject to any nuisance violations.
The home also has to be a primary residence.
The proposed ordinance must pass through various city council committees before coming to a full vote by the City Council.
