SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KABC) -- The San Diego Zoo Safari Park is showing off its newest cheetah cubs.
The female cubs were born Sept. 1 and are receiving around-the-clock care and bottle feedings. The cubs' mother has been unsuccessful at raising litters in the past, so the staff decided to raise the cubs.

The nearly 3-week-old cheetah cubs weigh about 3 pounds each. Zoo officials say the cubs are developing rapidly. The staff also says the two have playful personalities, and were already swatting at each other when they were just a few days old.
The cubs will be available for the public to see for a few hours each day starting at 9 a.m.
