A popular accessory store that caters to young girls is recalling some of its makeup over concerns about asbestos.
Claire's first announced the recall a few days before Christmas.
A Rhode Island mother who works for a law firm specializing in asbestos litigation said she was concerned about the ingredients in glitter makeup she bought for her daughter, so she sent samples for testing.
That kit and several others apparently tested positive for asbestos, which has been linked to cancer.
Claire's said it has launched a safety investigation and has pulled several different makeup sets from store shelves. The store is also issuing refunds.
